Small or big, a wedding remains a wedding. I happen to document events with over 300 guests in the most prestigious hotels of Switzerland, just as well as civil ceremonies followed by a drink with only a few guests. The latter was the case of the wedding I present you with today. Our beautiful bride and groom, S & R, celebrated their civil wedding in Vevey this summer. Hesitant to take a photographer, they finally came to the realization that even if a civil ceremony can be very formal, the day itself remains a special moment, an important moment for which they wanted to have memories to keep for a lifteime. Although this may sound like a wedding photographer advertising slogan, wedding pictures are the only memory that remains of that particular day … and this regardless of the number of guests, location, or duration of the event! Small or big, a wedding remains that: a wedding 🙂
But back to our story of the day. So, civil ceremony in Vevey, followed by a small drink and a family meal at the Hotel des Trois Couronnes in Vevey before joining friends and family at the Brasserie de Montbenon in Lausanne.
